Bill has traveled and entertained extensively as part of his career with a major global corporation. No matter how many stars the hotels were rated, over time the experience was the same old thing. Similarly, when hosting and attending corporate events, the experience became routine. The thrill was gone! What should have been pleasurable became predictable. He envisioned creating a travel destination that was comfortable, luxurious, and memorable.

Although Kathy has worked for many years as an educator and psychologist, creating a beautiful home for her family has always been as important an achievement as success in her professional life. When she and Bill embarked on the development of 36 Domingo, she was determined to provide a refined aesthetic and rigorous attention to detail that was often curiously missing from even the most luxurious accommodations.
